Our bus ticket from yesterday also gave us a 1-hour cruise on the Vltava river, so we made our way there via the Jewish quarter of Prague. We would have liked to visit the museum, except that there was only a single ticket that gave you entries to six different synagogues, each of which had different exhibitions about Jewish life in Prague through the years. It was a bit on the expensive side, given that there was only one exhibit that we would have wanted to see – so we didn’t bother.
The boat trip gave us a different view of the city and the bridges.
In the afternoon I wandered over to the National Museum – only to find that it was closed for refurbishments, and not scheduled to reopen until 2015! Anyway there was quite a good photo opportunity down the square towards the old city.
