Day 4

Here are some pics, first from day 2 (48 hrs post-surgery):

I didn't scare too many people at church yesterday (day 3). Until they asked, 'Did they go in through your ear?' and I said 'Yes'...

Day 4. The side of my face is (not surprisingly) swollen, including my ear, which is sticking out a bit more than usual. My face is still pretty numb from the cheekbone right up into my hairline. The specialist said this could take several weeks or months to regain feeling.
