Our first day trip from Inverness was to the Isle of Skye. We saw so many different landscapes along the way, it’s hard to sum up in just a few words. There was a lot of driving, much of it on very narrow roads. The mountains of Skye were quite impressive, even though we only saw a small corner of the island. Coming back was through the highlands and along Loch Ness.
