Mum and I went to the cricket today, Wellington vs. Central Districts. Boy did I miss these sorts of simple pleasures while I was in the US (was going to say, 'while I was away' but I did go to one day of the Ashes test at Lord's not long before I left London). Taking your chilly bin and a couple of cushions that after a couple of hours sitting on them aren't doing their job any more, getting sunburnt, buying overpriced chips and constantly saying, 'Did you see how he got out? I wasn't watching...'
Four more days until I fly out to Stanford. Hopefully arranging with 3 or 4 people from church to go for a bike ride on Thursday, probably around to Pencarrow (and weather-dependent of course). Another simple pleasure!
